I must deeply and humbly apologize. I promised a few posts a week and then left you all in the dust as I sped away to work 8-hour days, attempt to stay fit, try to cook and clean for my husband, and struggle to breathe and digest during all this.
I feel like there are so many categories of things I want to do: spend time in the Word, love my husband, work well at my job, keep my house clean, cook nutritious meals (or at least meals), work out and get healthy, read books, play music, and keep up with this blog. And I can only do a few of those categories a week. I feel like I should be able to do all of them, but I just haven't been able to.
So, I promise nothing for the rest of the summer but to simply try. Which, of course, you have no way of gauging, so it's very easy for me to promise that.
Anyway, without further ado, here are the final four pairs of earrings in my collection. This series will (eventually) be concluded with some pictures of my organization system at work and the earrings I'm discarding, but for today, it's just an ordinary quite-belated earring update.
June 12 - Aren't these fantastic? I put them on my Amazon.com wishlist because I loved them so much. They are perfect little bassoons - except they don't actually work. :)
June 13 - My friend Mrs. Hagedorn made these for our wedding. They are very hard to photograph because of their luminescence, but the pearls have a light green tint (to match the green bow on my wedding dress). They are so elegant, yet somehow still 'me'.
June 15 - As you can see, these earrings are a little heavier than what I usually wear. I try not to wear them often because I don't want saggy earlobes (gross!). I saw them at another booth when my sister and I worked at the Farmers' Market, and the lady liked the earrings I was selling, so we traded. It's hard to tell in this picture, but the way these catch the light is very magical.
June 16 - I actually made these to match my dress for my boyfriend's Prom when I was in 10th grade. I still like them, though, and I call them my DNA earrings (though they are not technically a double-helix). They are very sparkly!
Love and No Promises,
