I figured we'd take our tree down shortly after New Year's Day, so I stopped watering the tree around the 27th of December. I didn't want it slopping all over, after all.
Instead, we waited until the 10th of January. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
Caleb and I spent a few hours (yes - hours!) cleaning up the needles, and we still keep finding them all over.
It was a veritable forest floor in our house.
